5/6/2014 4:20:00 PM Kasson man arrested on child porn charges
A Kasson man has a pre-trial set for May 14 and jury trial set for May 15, for one charge of Dissemination of Pornographic Work Involving Minors and one count of Possession of Pornographic Work Involving Minors.
According the criminal complaint and incident reports from the Kasson Police Department, on January 9, 2014, the BCA Internet Crimes Against Kids Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children stating an IP Address had been used to upload an image of a known child victim of pornography that is identified as being "Series Jenny," the photo is of a young girl strapped to a bench face down and is not wearing any clothes. Through subpoenas, the IP address was traced back to a Kasson home.
When the Kasson Police Department executed a warrant on the property on February 4, Matthew William Garrison, 25, allegedly told police he was responsible for the images. He also allegedly admitted to sharing photos as well. He was arrested at his home, where he lived with his parents.
Garrison has one prior conviction of Criminal Sexual Misconduct in the 2nd Degree.
