Calling all princesses and pirates! The Hayfield Chamber of Commerce requests your attendance at their Princess and Pirate Party on Saturday, July 26.
The party will kick off at 10 a.m. and run until 12 p.m. at Himley Park in Hayfield, with the Hey Days Pageant Royalty, dressed as Disney Princesses and pirate first mates helping the young ladies and lads get into their fully princess and pirate dress. The party will be decorated with a princess carriage and a pirate ship.
The princesses will receive a tierra and wand; they will also get a sash to decorate. The Hey Days queen and princesses will be helping the young princesses do their hair and nails. The princesses are welcomed to come pre-dressed in their favorite princess dress or ball gown.
For the young lads, the first mates will be helping them decorate a sword; they will get a pirate hat, a tattoo and an eye patch.
All the princesses and pirates will then be welcomed to ride on the Hey Day pageant float in the parade at 2 p.m., with parent supervision.
For admission, the young princesses and pirates are asked to bring one canned food item or give a free will donation at the party. All food items and cash donated will go be given to the Semcac food shelf.
