New fitness center to open in Hayfield
• Soft opening on Nov. 17 located in former NAPA building

By Sherrie Sonnenberg

Fitness First is opening in Hayfield. This 24-hour full service fitness center is set for a soft opening on Saturday, November 17 from 10 am to 4 pm. Although, equipment will still be getting set up, the public is welcome to stop by and see the progress and what this great new facility will bring to the community.

Fitness First is located in the old Napa Building on Center Street in Hayfield. It has been completely remodeled and will soon be your new destination for improving your life. This 24-Hour Facility will have treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes for your cardio needs. It will include both machines and free weight opportunities for strength training.

Many small towns do not have fitness centers and in the rural areas the rates of obesity and cardiovascular conditions are highest. Fitness First will be a great addition to Hayfield. It has been many years since such a facility was open. A new business is always a plus in a small community not to mention the added value to new families considering relocating to Hayfield.

With the holiday season upon us, sweets around every corner, and party upon party that happens this time of year this center could not come at a more perfect time. You will be able to burn off a few calories and if you are committed to it, actually drop pounds before you even start your New Year's Resolution.

You are welcome to stop by to get a tour of new place, ask questions, join, and meet the owner and staff on Saturday, November 17.
