Adults have a lot to get a kick out of when it comes to festivals like Hayfield Hey Days. They meet old friends, go to the Flea Market, and see the quilt show. But what is there in it especially for the little ones? Well, there definitely is a lot!
On Friday, July 26, there will be a Kids Open Karaoke at the Main Stage with the Big Bang DJ & Karaoke at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, July 27, there is plenty to do, including fun events like the Princess Party and Cedar Creek Kids Fun & Games. There will be a Princess Party at Memorial Park on Main Street for kids ages two and up at 11 a.m. This has girls get involved with the Miss Hey Days candidatesby having a fun day for girl things, like fingernail painting, sash making, hair dos, snacks and pictures with the candidates. Cedar Creek Church will be having Kids Fun & Games from 12 to 4 p.m. There will also be fun inflatables from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for kids to bounce and play around on.
On Sunday, July 28, after the Community Worship Service in Memorial Park at 11 a.m., the Grand Parade will take place starting at 2 p.m. From 3:30-5:30 p.m., there will be the RAD (Reptile Amphibian Discovery) Zoo Show at Memorial Park, showing off some reptilian friends for all to see. Finally, to end the night with a bang, there will be fireworks at the Hayfield School Parking Lot starting at 9:30 p.m.
