On October 13, 2013 the Dodge County Sheriff's Office received a report from an employee of Subway in Dodge Center, of a female that passed a counterfeit $20 bill. The female was in a vehicle in the parking lot when the Sheriff's deputy arrived at Subway and was identified. The deputy also took a report from Wells Fargo Bank in Dodge Center on October 16th that they had 2 -- $20 counterfeit bills in their possession that came from Kwik Trip in Dodge Center. The deputy obtained the October 13th, surveillance video from Kwik Trip and identified the same female and her boyfriend in Kwik Trip shortly before the female passed the counterfeit bill at Subway. It appeared from the video that the female and the male each paid for something with $20 bills.
A search warrant was obtained and executed on Friday October 18th, to search the residence of Molly Jimenez-Vasquez in West Concord. Evidence was recovered and Molly Jimenez-Vasquez and Dennis Williams Jr. were interviewed and arrested on Friday.
Molly Therese Jimenez-Vasquez age 41 and Dennis Williams Jr. age 32 appeared in Dodge County District Court today and were each charged with a Felony Counterfeit Currency - Manufacturing, with a maximum sentence of 20 years imprisonment and/or $100,000 fine; and with a Gross Misdemeanor of Counterfeit Currency - Utter/Possess, with a maximum sentence of 1 year imprisonment and/or $3,000.
