Byron High School girls soccer is planning a 2013 "summer Mini Camp."
The camp is open to girls entering fourth through 12th grades for the 2013-14 school year, with a limit of 24 players per level. The camp goals are as follows:
IntroSoccer Level (entering fourth through fifth grade): Focus is on confidence with the ball and the game of soccer, learning basic ball handling skills, ball control including dribble, basic ball moves, passing and receiving.
Beginner Level (entering fifth through seventh grade): Focus is on expanding expertise in ball control including dribble, ball moves, passing and receiving, building confidence in the game.
Intermediate Level (seventh through ninth grade): Focus is on intermediate ball control, dribbling under pressure, moves to beat an opponent, passing/ receiving in tight space, finishing. Introduction of basic team skills.
Advanced Level (entering ninth through 12th grades): Focus is on advanced ball control skills, and moves under pressure For more information, call Anthony Clark, (507) 990-2040.
