The funeral service for RoseAnn R. Richardson, 75, of Stewartville,Mn. will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday (November 6, 2012) at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kasson, Mn. with Rev. Marie Anderson officiating. Burial will be at East St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery in Rock Dell. Mrs. Richardson died Friday (November 2, 2012) of natural causes, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester,Mn.where she had beena patient for the past two weeks.
RoseAnn Ruby Richardson was born December 19, 1936 in Rock Dell Twsp.,Dodge County, Mn. to Albert and Edna(Boyum) Seim. She grew up on the family farm in Rock Dell Twsp., attended rural school and Kasson schools graduating from Kasson H.S. in 1954 and was employed at the Rock Dell Telephone Co. as an operater for a few years. RoseAnn was married on March 28, 1958 at East St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Rock Dell to Lawrence W. Richardson. Following their marriage the couple lived in rural Rock Dell for a number of years before moving to Rochester and then Byron in 1965 where they raised their family and lived for over 20 years. Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker and was employed in housekeeping at Samaritan Bethany Heights in Rochster for many years until her retirement in 1999. Mr. Richardson was a longtime employee at 21st Century Genetics in Stewartville until his retirement. The Richardsons moved to Stewartville in 1988. RoseAnn was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kasson. Family was the center of her life and she loved time spent with her family, especially all of her grandchildren and great grandchidren.
RoseAnn is survived by her husband - Lawrence; 4 sons - Dennis(Mary)of Kasson; Joe(Karen) of Byron; Keith(Jackie) of Byron and Randy(Michele) of Byron.; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother -David(Ellen) Seim of Rochester, Mn. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey, her parents and 1 brother - Lyle Seim.
Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday (November 5, 2012) at Griffin-Gray F.H. in Stewartville and 1 hr. prior to the service at the church in Kasson on Tuesday morning.
