Triton Volleyball started off last week hosting a very hardhitting Stewartville on Tuesday, September 4th.
Stewartville is lead by two Division One players and their strong serving team seemed to always leave Triton on the defense. "We made some great digs but we were always in the situation of trying to make a great dig and not able to get much into our offense," explained head coach Peggy Moran. "The girls played well."
Triton lost the match in three games; 25-5, 25-12 and 25-16.
After beginning the season 0-2 on Thursday, September 6th the Cobras found their confidence on the court and played well as a team, sweeping Winona Cotter in three games. 25-16,-25-22 and 25-16.
