On Thursday evening, The Vikings took on a "very good and scrappy," Goodhue team. "We had good hits that we thought were down; they would pick it up to keep the ball in play," Severson said. "In game two and three we were down by one and came back to tie it and then down one, we were able to come back and finish the job." Severson also noted that the girls were determine and didn't give up. "The girls played well and we'll continue to get in the gym and work for improving each day."
