Lake City shot the lights out early and never looked back as they defeated the Cobras 67-34 on Friday night. "Lake City moved the ball well and hit outside shots," Coach Jason Boe said. "We tried different looks defensively but once they warmed up from the outside everything seemed to go in for them. Defensively, we needed to turn up the heat and just
weren't able to."
The Cobras also struggled offensively
with Lake City's full court pressure. "We're not handling the press well right now, both individually and team wise. It's rattling us and causing us to make too many mistakes," Boe explained.
"We'll spend a ton of time working against that type of pressure this week
because we know teams are going to con- sistently bring it."
The Cobras struggled from the field shooing 31% but shot very well from the free throw line making 11-14 free throws for 78%.
