The Triton student council kicked off homecoming week on Monday with a pickup smash. Students had a chance to smash the vehicle in an attempt to show off their strength. Each student was charged a $1 per hit with the monies raised going to the family of Harmony Henderson, the student injured in a car accident near Claremont on September 10. Several students attempted the strength feat including principal Brett Joyce. The pickup was donated by Tom and Deb Groll and decorated by the student council.
