12/9/2013 10:51:00 AM Triton selects three finalists for superintendent interviews
On Wednesday evening the Triton School Board concluded six interviews of prospective candidates to be the next superintendent of the Triton Schools. They then decided to invite three of the candidates back for a final interview. These candidates are:
Superintendent Jeremiah Olson of the Underwood, MN School District
Superintendent Steve Sallee of the Southland and Leroy-Ostlander School Districts
Principal Brett Joyce of the Triton High School
The final interviews will be held this coming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and a final decision to hire a superintendent will be made on Wednesday evening. Tentatively Jeremiah Olson will interview on Monday, Steve Sallee on Tuesday and Brett Joyce on Wednesday.
Each will be in the building most of the day as they interview and will meet with staff members, students and community members during the day. In addition some of the candidates spouses will visit with staff as part of their decision involves enrolling their own children into the Triton school system.
Everyone is invited to participate and a schedule has been set up. Every person interested in meeting with the candidates will have an opportunity to fill out a confidential reaction sheet which will be given to the board prior to them doing a final interview.
